Abstract

1290403 Transfers LETRASET Ltd 19 April 1971 [29 April 1970] 20699/70 Heading B6C A heat activatable transfer comprisng a polyethylene terepthalate base, a layer of hard acrylic resin adherent thereto and an image in printing ink adherent to the acrylic resin, the ink containing a thermoplastic resinous material. The term hard acrylic resin means an acrylic resin having a clear film Tukon hardness number of at least 18 after storing at 180‹ F. for 30 minutes, or a pencil hardness after storing at 180‹ F. for 30 minutes of at least 2H. The Tukon hardness number is the Knoop hardness number as measured on a Tukon micro-hardness tester.
