1289445 Typewriters SUMLOCK ANITA ELECTRONICS Ltd 24 March 1971 7738/71 Heading B6F Mechanical attachment to operate typewriter.- The attachment comprises a stepped base-plate 11 and a plurality of solenoids 12 mounted on the plate with their plungers 13 extending below the plate for engaging the typewriter keys 3. Additionally, an upper stepped plate 17 is also provided with solenoid plunger damping means 20 to control the return movement of the plungers. Plastics tip members 14 are fastened to the lower portion of the plungers 13. The rear portion of the base-plate has a hook portion 10 arranged to co-operate with the typewriter frame 4, and at the front a plurality of adjusting wheels 9 on screw supports 8 enable the attachment to be adjusted with respect to the keys 3.
