1286904 Reactivation of zeolites LEUNA WERKE WALTER ULBRICHT VEB 26 Feb 1970 9292/70 Heading C1A Zeolite molecular sieves may be reactivated by burning away deposits, which cannot be desorbed, by means of a gas containing free oxygen, the zeolite being treated with hydrogen or a gas containing free hydrogen prior to the treatment with the gas containing free oxygen. The hydrogen treatment is preferably carried out at 360-600‹ C. at an average linear flow rate of 10 cm./s. and at a hydrogen partial pressure of at least 1 atmosphere. The process is preferably preceded by a desorption phase.
