Abstract
1285622 Pulse radar THOMSON CSF VISUALISATION ET TRAITEMENT DES INFORMATIONS TVT 4 Aug 1969 [2 Aug 1968] 38871/69 Heading H4D The amplitude threshold U s of a circuit 1 to which radar video signals V are applied is automatically adjusted such that the number of binarily quantized bits NFA at point 3 is constant and equal to the number of pulses N from a generator 8 which are selected to occur during the same time period; bits NFA and pulses N are applied to a shift register 5 of bistable triggers such that a counter circuit 6 and digital-to-analogue circuit 7 give requisite threshold U s . In another embodiment the threshold for a further circuit is obtained from the foregoing arrangement, Figs. 2, 3 (neither shown).
