Abstract

1282819 Putter aligning device J J PALOTSEE 28 May 1970 25660/70 Heading A6D A golf putter aligning device comprises an elongated rod releasably retained in a horizontal bore in a holder which is releasably secured to the head of a golf putter. In the figures, rod 10 extends normally to the striking face 30 of the putter. The rod is held in holder 11 by means of a spring- biased ball engaging a groove 13 in the rod, and the holder is secured to the golf putter head by means of a similar spring-biased ball engaging a dimple 26 in a prong 25 of triangular cross-section. With the rod parallel to the line joining the ball and the hole, the putter strikes the ball at the correct angle.
