1281813 Perfumes CHEMISCHE FABRIEK NAARDEN NV 3 Feb 1970 [4 Feb 1969] 5163/70 Heading A5B [Also in Division C2] Cycloalkylidine butanols of general formula in which A with the carbon atoms C 1 , C 2 and C 3 form a cyclic system which may be monocyclic or polycyclic and may carry one or more alkyl groups on the residue A; and R 1 -R 4 one hydrogen atoms or C 1 -C 5 alkyl groups, with the exception that at least one of R 1 -R 4 represents an alkyl group when A is a 1,2- ethylidene or 1,3-propylidene group are used as active agents in perfume compositions.
