Abstract

1280901 Thermal insulation; tube insulation CAPE INSULATION Ltd 7 Sept 1970 [6 June 1969 11 May 1970] 28709/69 and 22672/70 Headings F2P and F2X The liquid storage container 1 is thermally insulated by the polyurethane foam slabs 4 shaped as isosceles triangles. The sides 5, 6 of the slabs are rebated at 7, 8 so as to accommodate the strip of insulating material 10. The slabs are secured by the mastic layers 2 and 11. In alternative forms the rebate may be formed either at the outer surface of the slabs or between the inner and outer surfaces.
