1280116 Heating and cooling articles FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 20 July 1970 [19 July 1969] 35053/70 Heading F4U In apparatus for heating or cooling articles supported on a conveyer 5, the articles are subjected to a purified gas stream with laminar flow. A distributing device 3 produces the required laminar flow and the device may simultaneously serve as a gas filter or a separate filter 9 may be provided outside the apparatus. The gas stream may be heated in a heater 13 to a temperature suitable for sterilization, or may be cooled for tempering.
