1279958 Manufacturing garments DURKOPPWERKE GmbH 20 April 1971 [22 April 1970] 10286/71 Heading A3V Apparatus for the manufacture of articles of clothing comprises an overhead conveyer installation consisting of a rail 1 suspended from a ceiling 3 by means of brackets 2, and a slide 5 moveable along the rail by means of rollers 4 engaged on the rail, the slide including a rod 6 to which bands 7 are secured by means of eyelets, the bands being secured at their lower ends to the articles of clothing 8 either by stitching or by clamps or other means, the articles of clothing 8 being conveyed along the rail 1 to successive manufacturing stations, e.g. a sewing machine table 9, each having a guide stirrup 11 to guide the articles of clothing to a position for receipt by an operator, the guide stirrup also effecting the separation of processed articles of clothing from unprocessed articles.
