Abstract

1279431 Skinless sausages COOLMOTA Ltd 28 May 1970 [2 June 1969] 27812/69 Heading A2B In the manufacture of skinless sausages, partly manufactured sausages still in the skin are fed into each of a series of containers pivotally attached to an endless conveyor belt, each container in turn is filled with hot water, the hot water is thereafter discharged and replaced by cold, preferably chilled, water, which is thereafter discharged, and the sausages are then removed from the containers. By this treatment, a coagulated skin is formed on the surface of the filling.
