Abstract

1278711 Coated fabric MICHELIN & CIE (COMPAGNIE GENERALE DES ETABS MICHELIN) 20 March 1970 [20 March 1969] 13719/70 Heading B2E [Also in Division B7] A cycle type cover comprises a carcass weighing between 60 and 200 g/m<SP>2</SP>, formed of a fabric of synthetic filaments of denier between 50 and 840 and having between 30 and 100g of elastomer applied to it per square meter. The fabric is coated by dipping with a thickness of elastomer between 0.05 and 0.20 mm and comprises filaments of polyamide 6/6 having a cross-section 0.39 x 0.11 mm with 21 filaments/cm in the weft 13 and 23/cm in the warp 12, to give a mesh 14 of about 0.45 square mm. The fabric may be knitted.
