Abstract

1278192 Identity Kits; Books KENT COUNTY COUNCIL 19 April 1971 [27 Jan 1970] 3897/70 Headings B6A and B6X An identity kit comprises a box 20, Fig. 6, including an upper part 22 in which is disposed a plurality of sets of basic facial shapes 15 and facial features 16 to 19 and a representation of a face is built up using a lower part 21 of the box by placing a selected facial shape 15 on the base 10 of the box, aligning the facial shape 15 with respect to an edge 14, Fig. 7, of a mirror 11 located in holes 13 of the base so that a correct facial contour is obtained and then superposing a facial shape 15 required facial features 16 to 19. The facial representation which may be given a stereoscopic effect by providing a convex base 10 may be built up on either side of the line 14 so that unilaterally occurring facial features or blemishes may be marked by a felted pen on the mirror 11. A complete representation may be reproduced photographically. Facial shapes and features may be coloured or constituted by photographic reproductions. To facilitate quick selection of basic shapes 15, a set of flick books 24, Fig. 10, having shingled edges 26 may be provided. Alternatively, the books may be constituted by stacks of shingled sheets stapled along a transverse line.
