Abstract

1278056 Accelerometers; pressure gauges OAK ELECTRO/NETICS CORP 25 July 1969 [25 July 1968 19 May 1969] 37440/69 Headings G1K and G1L [Also in Divisions G2-3 and H1] A prism is used to reflect light from indicia to an observer. In an accelerometer, Fig.7, the prism is spring-loaded and light from indicia 98-104 is reflected at a conical surface 86 towards an observation surface 90 according to the relative positions of prism and indicia. In a pressure sensing device, Fig. 10, the prism 106 is attached to a plunger 110 and when it is forced into the position illustrated in Fig.12 light from indicia 114 will be reflected to an observation face 116.
