Abstract
1277828 Separating biscuits into batches SCHWEIZERISCHE INDUSTRIE-GES 20 Nov 1970 [20 Nov 1969] 56896/70 Addition to 1199812 Heading B85 Batches of biscuits 2, Fig. 1, of a predetermined length, are separated from a stack in an inclined shoot by clamping the part 2<SP>1</SP> of the stack by means of a pivoted arm 8, lowering the batches 21<SP>1</SP>, 2<SP>1</SP>11 down the shoot by withdrawing a support 31 to the position shown in Fig. 3, and projecting a member 51 with needles 56 into contact with the edge only of one of the biscuits to hold back the batch 2<SP>11</SP> as shown in Fig. 4. The batch 2<SP>111</SP> is lowered further and a safety slide 57 is projected into the gap 35. Batch 2<SP>111</SP> is finally transferred to be further processed by either grippers 36, Fig. 1, or a pusher 68, Fig. 5 (not shown).
