Abstract
1277554 Evaporators DANFOSS AS 19 April 1971 [23 March 1970] 24881/71 Heading F4H In a forced-flow evaporator 4 for use in a compression-condensation refrigerating apparatus, and in which the effective outside radiating surface of the evaporated pipe 7 is increased by the provision of fins 11, the inner surface of the pipe is smooth and accommodates a mesh insert 21, which only slightly reduces the effective internal cross-section of the pipe. The inserts are made of metal gauze and are produced in flat strips, such that upon insertion in the pipe, a gap 13 is positioned at the bottom of the pipe.
