Abstract

1276643 Joints; tables MARK PERKS Ltd 19 Jan 1971 [21 Jan 1970] 3056/70 Heading A4H [Also in Division E1] A lattice assembly consists of lattice members provided with heads which engage in sockets in other members with a loose fit, wedges being provided in the sockets to lock the members together rigidly. As shown, members 11a, 11b are each provided with heads 18, 21 and a socket 22. Grooves 23 are formed in the sockets for the reception of wedges. Junction members 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, each having four heads and four sockets, are also used to inter-connect the lattice members and the form of the members is such as to allow different lattice configurations. The lattice members are preferably short lengths of extruded section. Some members may be constituted by elongated extrusions of corresponding section in order to form the legs of an occasional table which is covered with a glass sheet.
