1275565 Hypodermic syringe STERLING DRUG Inc 8 Aug 1969 [24 Sept 1968 (2)] 39902/69 Heading A5R A syringe assembly comprises a holder 126 supporting a needle 122 in a hub 124, and a cartridge 110 having a stopper 116 which is engageable with the holder such that the inner end of the needle pierces the stopper, there being a second needle (142) and needle hub (144) able to be fitted to the first hub 124 in the event of the needle 122 breaking (Figure 3, not shown). The cartridge and holder are of glass or plastics material and the stopper of rubber.
