Abstract
1,272,724. Laminates. MOTORENUND TURBINEN-UNION MUNCHEN G.m.b.H. 28 Sept., 1970 [26 Sept., 1969], No. 46118/70. Heading B5N. [Also in Division B3] An adhesive containing a heavy metal oxide distributed throughout it is used for sticking two components and the joint is examined by investigating its absorption of X or Y rays. The components may be metal and a radiograph may be produced. Application of the invention to bonding two laminates to a honeycomb for an surframe structure and to bonding in aero engine manufacture are exemplified.
