Abstract

1,271,923. Blow moulding; polypropylene containers. SOC. BLANCS DE SEMIS LE LION. 17 March, 1970 [17 March, 1969], No. 12160/70. Heading B5A. [Also in Division B8] A container for mushroom mycelium is formed by extrusion blow-moulding a one-piece, circular section hollow body of polypropylene or other polyolefin comprising a central portion 3 which is provided with a central chimney portion 2 and is joined by a shoulder 5 to a lower portion 4, the inner diameter of the central portion being equal to the outer diameter of the lower portion, and separating the central portion by circumferentially cutting through the body wall at the shoulder to provide a lid. Grooves 6, 7 are formed in the respective walls of the central and lower portion to permit snap-fastening of the central portion, once separated, on to the lower portion.
