An injection port for high pressure gas chromatography comprises a housing 3 having two or more self sealing septa 4 e.g. of rubber, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyesters or silicone rubber, each being supported by a respective rigid disc 1 e.g. of stainless steel, apertured to allow passage of a syringe. A nut 2 allows for tightening of the septa within the housing. Liquid hydrocarbons may be injected.
