Abstract

1,271,599. Cases. VALIGERIA ANGELO VALAGUZZA DI GHEZZI ANGELA & C. S.A.S. 1 Sept., 1970 [9 April, 1970], No. 41807/70. Heading B8P. In a case comprising two hingedly connected half shells (1, 2) the periphery of one of which is provided with an aluminium section (13), on which is mounted the lock and which overlaps the other half shell when the case is closed, a cover for the lock has a plurality of recesses 5 mating with a plurality of spaced ribs (6) on the section. Two plungers 8 are spring-biased outwardly through bores 17 in the side of the cover 3 facing the other half shell and are inwardly depressed by a rim (2a) on this half shell on closure of the case. The plungers move the two half-shells slightly apart on release of the mechanism retaining the case in the closed position by means of buttons (15) on the sides of the case. The cover has a keyhole 12 and two holes 7 for connecting members to attach the cover 3 to the case and a handle (14) to the cover.
