Abstract

1,271,264. Pit props. GULLICK DOBSON Ltd. 14 May, 1970 [30 May, 1969], No. 27536/ 69. Heading E1E. A pit prop 10 which may form part of an advancing unit is connected to a base or roof canopy 12 by a pair of arcuate members 16, 18, 19 of L-shaped cross-section which permit a degree of articulation therebetween. The other end of the prop, such as its lower end, may be connected to a base 11, 13 by a bolt 14 to allow pivoting.
