Abstract

126,911. Lesseps, P. de. Dec. 5, 1918. Steering and balancing.-Relates to ailerons operated from adjacent pulleys rotated by endless cords, &c., and consists in mounting on the pulleys 7 arms 11 which are connected by rigid bars 12 or cords to the aileron levers 13, the ailerons and arms rotating about axes at right-angles. The bars 12 are connected to the arms 11 and levers 13 by universal or Cardan joints. The endless cord 6 is secured to the pulleys by pins 14.
