Abstract

1,265,632. Reservoir pens. GILLETTE CO. 10 Nov., 1970 [24 Nov., 1969], No. 53395/70. Heading B6P. The pressurizing control assembly similar to that of Specification 1,176,193 is modified in that the axially displaceable element 51 has a frusto-conical surface 53 for sealing the air channel defined between the washer 54 and the stem of the element 51 when writing pressure is exerted (Fig. 3), In particular the air channel may be formed by axially and radially extending grooves 58 and 59 formed directly in the element 51, or by axially extending grooves (68, Figs. 8 to 11) formed in the washer 54.
