A dispensing device comprises a base 3, Fig. 2 supporting a magazine or chute 4 for a stack of articles supported on a bottom ledge 10, 11, Fig. 4 and having cut-outs 6, 7, 12 facilitating withdrawal of the bottom article in the stack, and at least another similar chute 5 supported above chute 4 in staggered formation and linked to the chute below e. g. by pivotable top hinges 13, Fig. 2 or side hinges 13, Fig. 4 enabling the top chute to be moved away from the bottom for reloading. The device, which may be of plastics, may have socketed lugs on one chute snapping over stub spindles on the chute below. A plurality of pairs of side-by-side chutes staggered one above the other may be linked each to the one beneath. A top transparent cover 14 is secured, e.g. by slides or hinges, to the top chute.
