1,264,542. Composition comprising paraformaldehyde and benzene hexachloride. FARM FUMIGANTS Ltd. 19 Feb., 1970 [19 Feb., 1969], No. 9077/69. Heading A5E. A fumigating composition comprises paraformaldehyde and benzene hexachloride in a weight ratio of 50:1 to 9:1. The composition may be used in a method of fumigating an enclosed space which comprises exposing the interior of the space having an atmospheric temperature of at least about 60‹F. to a vapourous mixture of formaldehyde and benzene hexachloride formed by heating the composition to at least 400‹F. A dyestuff may be present in the composition to avoid confusion with other white powders.
