Computing-scales.-Relates to gauges for determining dimensions of circular bodies, of the type comprising a pair of legs and a graduated slide. The legs A, A' are pivoted to a plate and abut against strips thereon, between which slides the bar D. This bar may be of square section and have its faces graduated to read diameters, sectional areas, weights per unit length, section modulus, price, &c.
