1,263,892. Tobacco smoke filters. NIPPON CLOTH INDUSTRY CO. Ltd. 5 Jan., 1970 [13 Jan., 1969], No. 450/70. Heading A2C. [Also in Division B1] An adsorbent, smoke-filtering material for use in cigarettes &c. and pipes consists of a mixture of gluten and wheat flour kneaded with water and baked. The ratio by weight of gluten to wheat flour is preferably within the range 1:1.5 to 2:1. The baked product may be crushed for use in granulated form, and may be employed with other filter materials.
