Abstract

1,263,632. Tennis racket. H. OWADA. 2 July, 1969, No. 33344/69. Heading A6D. In a racket for tennis, badminton or table tennis, the major axis of the elliptical hitting section 10 is inclined at an angle α to the longitudinal axis of the handle 20 and the latter is twisted above the grip 13 in a clockwise direction through an angle # about its longitudinal axis. The extension of the longitudinal axis of the handle 20 intersects the major axis of the hitting section at the centre of gravity G of the latter. The lower part of the grip 13 is bent forwardly and to the left as shown in Fig. 2.
