Abstract

1,260,929. Engineering drawings. ETUDES TECHNIQUES DE CONSTRUCTIONS A FONTAINEBLEAU. 28 March, 1969 [29 March, 1968], No. 16468/69. Heading B6X. A civil engineering drawing is produced by programming a computer to produce a sheet C, Fig. 3, on which is printed an array of data including (a) registering marks a1, a<1>1 for registration with overlaid, transparent schematic drawing portions H, Fig. 1, representing an upper beam portion and B, Fig. 2, representing a lower beam portion, (b) dimensional data appearing on sheet C at locations i<11>, which are in register with dimension indicating graphic symbols i, i<3>, on drawing portions H, B and (c) drawing portion identifying and selecting platen, e.g. TYPE H45/B33. The complete drawing (D, Fig. 4) is produced by selecting drawing portions H45, Fig. 1, and B33, Fig. 3, and overlaying them over the sheet C to produce the drawing D. The drawing portions H, B which are transparent may be replaced by transparent masks which are copied photographically on to the sheet C which has a photo-sensitive layer.
