1,260,533. P.V.C. fillers. KABEL-UND METALLWERKE GUTEHOFFNUNGSHUTTE A.G. 21 April, 1969 [11 May, 1968], No. 20221/69. Heading C3P. Fire-resistant P.V.C. contains at least 60 p.h.r. of an acid-binding filler having a mean particle size below 250 millimicrons. Preferred fillers are metal oxides, hydroxides and carbonates especially precipitated calcium carbonate, and the products are of particular use in covering electric cables.
