Abstract

1,259,280. Weather-resistant rodenticide. RODENTEX Ltd. 27 March, 1969 [24 May, 1968], No. 24804/68. Heading A5E. A rodenticide comprises small discrete pieces each comprising a central kernel of unadulterated material edible by and attractive to a rodent, the kernel being coated with a rodent poison and a baiting material and the whole coated with an outer weather-resistant film acceptable to a rodent. The kernel may be wheat, other grain, maize, beans or peas and the poison may be warfarin. Sugar is a suitable bait and the coating film may be of vegetable or mineral oil or fat which will set. A plurality of the coated discrete pieces may be conglomerated into a solid block.
