[Also in Division F2] A rail vehicle wheel comprises brake discs 4, 5 inserted with radial clearance for thermal expansion into recesses on both sides of the wheel and secured by resilient rings 10, corrugated in the radial direction, in grooves 9, 8 in the wheel recesses and discs respectively and by blocks 11 secured to the wheel projecting into recesses in the discs. Each ring may be open ended, extending to the block 11, or comprise two half rings. Each disc may be secured by several blocks 11.
