Abstract
1,258,954. Composite colour films. V. L. A. MARGUTTI. Aug.7, 1970 [Aug.7, 1969], No.39553/69. Addition to 1,154, 340. Heading G2C. In the production of a composite colour film by the method disclosed in Parent Specification, an intermediate test print is made to determine the necessary exposures in printing on to the partially exposed colour intermediate film. In step 4 of the method of Parent Specification, a print containing red and green information is made on to the colour intermediate film. Separately, from the foreground negative, a green filtered colour separation positive print is made on to black and white film. From the inter positive having the red and green information an exposure is made on to intermediate colour film, and from the green separation negative a blue filtered exposure is made on to the same intermediate film, thus producing a colour inter negative. From this a rush print is made which can be readily colour-graded to determine proper exposures for printing from the red-green intermediate positive and from the green separation positive.
