Planes, arrangement of.-In order to give the -pilot and gunner an unrestricted view fore and aft, upwards, and sideways, the upper wings of a biplane spring from the sides of the fuselage 2 with such dihedral angle as to increase the gap between the upper and lower planes. The outer sections 3 may be parallel with the lower plane 5, while the inner sections 1 may have struts 4 in V-formation to carry the engines.
