Abstract

1,257,398. Centrifugal internal shoe drum brakes; coupling pulleys. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 18 March, 1970 [26 March, 1969], No. 13000/70. Headings F2E and F2U. [Also in Divisions G3 and H3] The Specification discloses a centrifugal slip friction clutch (Fig. 2) for driving the tuner (6, Fig. 1, not shown), of a cassette radio receiver (1) from the forward and rewind drive actuators of a cassette taperecorder (see Division H3). The slip friction clutch has a pulley 5 driving, via a friction coupling 12, a carrier disc 13 which carries centrifugal brake shoes 14 and which includes a toothed wheel 17 for slowly driving the tuner (6).
