[Also in Division D1] A radially clamping grip as described in Parent Specification in which the ends 35a &c of the filaments 5a &c are bent outwardly on emerging from the resilient tubular member 10. The bending of each filament at each end of the member 10 may be in the same or a different plane, and the ends of the filaments 35a may form a cone in which the sloping edges 35a &c are straight or helical.
