[Also in Division C3] A fusible adhesive for gluing wood to wood or synthetic resin to wood is an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer in which the molar ratio of ethylene to vinyl acetate (prior to saponification) is 3 : 1 to 1 : 2 and which has been 40- 90% saponified. In examples strips of beech are adhered to each other or to strips of an aminoplast resin.
