Abstract

Tidal energy, utilizing.-In apparatus for utilizing tidal energy, a cylinder 10 with a submerged lower end is provided with a buoyant piston 10<a> and with air inlet and outlet pipes 14, 15 provided with one-way valves 16, 17. Each pipe is connected to a turbine, and the turbines are geared to a countershaft.
