Abstract
1,252,185. Burners. JUNKERS & CO. G.m.b.H. 7 Feb., 1969 [9 Feb., 1968], No. 6633/69. Heading F4T. A thermoelectric gas ignition safety device comprises a housing 101, 102 with a gas inlet chamber 30, a thermoelectric ignition safety valve 13 operable by a key 18 and a gas filter 31 positioned in, and extending across the chamber 30, upstream of valve 13, the filter being insertable through an aperture 34 in a housing wall 103 and securable in a gas tight manner to the wall 103 by means of a mounting strip 35. The strip has lug-like projections, Fig. 3 (not shown), which are sprung into both sides of an elastic sealing frame holding the filter, and the screws 37 which hold the housing parts 101, 102 together serve also to secure the mounting strip. Sealing grooves 36 provided on the sides, and also preferably at the base of chamber 30, guide the sealing frame in the chamber, and the gas filter is preferably a flat screen.
