Abstract

1,250,006. Runners for sliding doors. BECKETT, LAYCOCK & WATKINSON Ltd. 22 April, 1969 [7 May, 1968], No. 21467/68. Heading E1J. A tube comprises two blanks 16, 17 joined longitudinally and defining a bore 12, a plate 20 in the bore having tags 21 entering recesses or slots 18, 19 in the blanks to retain it axially. The blanks are joined by spot welding. In use the tube is attached to a sliding door and accommodates a tube (11) carrying a roller, the plate 20 forming an abutment for a spring (15) seated in the tube (11).
