Abstract

1,248,909. Trampolines. LEW-WAYS Ltd. 3 Dec., 1968 [8 Dec., 1967], No. 55826/67. Heading A6M. A trampoline consists of a main support frame and an area of tensioned non-resiliently deformable material 16 which has at least two rigid members 18 and 19 extending along its sides, the rigid members being connected to the main frame by means of a plurality of coiled tension springs 22. One of the rigid members is connected to a portion 11 of the main frame which is pivoted on other frame portions to permit assembly in the position shown and subsequent tensioning of the springs 22 by moving the portion 11 into a vertical plane where it is secured by passing bolts through holes 29, 30.
