Abstract

1,248,867. Rockets. RAUFOSS AMMUNISJONSFABRIKKER A.S. 9 Dec., 1969 [9 Dec., 1968], No. 60069/69. Heading F3A. In a rocket for dispersing radar reflecting material arranged in bundles or packs 3 alternating with support discs 4, 5, the bundles and discs are retained in a cylindrical casing 2 of the rocket by segments 7 arranged round the inner circumference of the casing and extending over the whole length of the effective load space. The discs are retained in grooves in the segments. The arrangement is characterized in that the discs are calibrated as to strength from top to bottom in correspondence with the mass to be taken up resiliently by the respective discs owing to set-back on discharge of the rocket. The bottom disc 5 is supported on a cup-shaped base 6 the position of which is adjustable to vary the resilience of this disc.
