Abstract

1,247,459. Mounting printed circuit boards. ALBISWERK ZURICH A.G. 19 May, 1970 [3 June, 1969], No. 24046/70. Heading H1R. In a mounting device for printed circuit boards, two rods 2, 3 are arranged perpendicular to the mounting planes of the circuit boards 1, with pairs of discs 4, 5 arranged on the rods to form waisted guide rollers 7, which exert clamping forces on the inserted printed circuit boards. The discs are frustoconical in shape, and the pairs of discs are held in place on the rods by helical springs 6 and tubular spacers 13. Thus, when a circuit board is slid into the mounting device, a small gap is formed between the appropriate pair of discs; the distance between the rods 2, 3, and the shape of the discs 4, 5 being such that the circuit board is held in position. A fixing pin 16 is inserted through aligned holes 17 in the circuit boards and screwed into the carrier 15 to secure the circuit boards.
