Abstract

1,245,067. Toaster. ELTROLUED E. SCHMIDT & CO. Jan. 16, 1970 [Jan. 28, 1969], No.2184/70. Heading A4D. A grating 7, for the support of bread rolls to be heated above a toaster is mounted above the upper surface of the toaster, and formed integrally with retaining members 8 which pass vertically through apertures in the top of the toaster and are connected to a shaft 10. The shaft passes through a vertical slot in the side of the toaster and is attached to a knob 11, vertical movement of which raises or lowers the grating and rotation of which clamps or unclamps the grating. The grating may consist of U shaped members which do not obstruct the slots of the toaster.
