A herbicidal composition comprises 4-chloro- 2-oxobenzothiazolin-3-ylacetic acid or a salt or ester thereof, 2-methoxy-3,6-dichlorbenzoic acid or a salt or ester thereof, and optionally a phenoxyalkanoic acid herbicide or a salt or ester thereof, e.g. 4-chloro-2-methylphenoxyacetic acid, alpha-(4-chloro-2-methylphenoxy) propionic acid, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, alpha-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy) propionic acid, or a salt or ester thereof.
