Abstract

1,242,915. Sets. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ELECTRIC CORP. 4 Sept., 1969 [11 Sept., 1968; 29 May, 1969], No. 43791/69. Heading H4J. An electromagnetic ringer 2 is located on a base-plate 1 of a telephone subset by a pivot pin 4 extending from beneath the ringer base-plate 3 into a hole 5 in the subset base-plate 1. The ringer 2 is held against rotation by locating two opposite corners of the ringer base-plate 3 against rigid stops 10 integral with the base-plate 1 and each having a portion extending over the corner of the ringer base-plate 3. Two resilient tongues 9 extend from the ringer base-plate 3 and each locates against a cam 7 forming part of a resilient arm 6 integral with the subset, baseplate 1 and lying within an aperture in the baseplate 1. The ringer 2 may be removed by depressing the two resilient arms, moving the resilient tongues 9 over the cams 7 and the corners of the plate 3 away from the rigid stops 10.
