A bust developer comprises a pair of plate members 1 and 2, which are formed by moulding of synthetic plastics material, said members being dished to conform to the contours of the palm of a hand. The plate members are held apart by a pair of spring steel strips 3, formed in a 'U'-shape, and screwed to the inside of members 1 and 2 by rivets 4. The device may be provided with markings on the outer faces of the plate members to indicate different positions in which the hands are placed on the device.
