Abstract

1,248,630. Dress forms. R. C. C. WALTERS. 16 April, 1970 [16 April, 1969], No. 19446/69. Heading G5G. A dress form comprises an upright stem 11 provided with a platform 15 and a crosspiece 13 and shoulder pieces 29, 31 made of sheet material and adjustably mounted on the crosspiece 13 so that the shoulder width of the dress form can be adjusted, neck pieces 23, 24, also made of sheet material, being adjustably mounted on the platform 15 so that the neck size of the dress form may be adjusted. As shown the shoulder pieces 29, 31 are attached by engaging lugs 16 in the crosspiece in any one of the slots 32, 33. Similarly the neck pieces 23, 24 are attached by engaging lugs 17 on the platform 15 in slots in the neck pieces. The two portions 27, 28 of the neck piece 23 overlap inside the neck piece 24, the two parts being secured by press studs 43, 44.
