1,241,999. Multiple film cine projectors. EASTMAN KODAK CO. June 5, 1968 [June 5, 1967], No.4758/71. Divided out of 1,241,997. Heading G2E. The Specification relates to the multiple-film cine projector of Specification 1,241,997, but claim 1 is directed to a method of withdrawing the end of a film wound on a reel comprising the steps of rotating the roll in an unwinding sense and engaging the outer convolution with a stripper finger to separate the film end, the roll being so rotated by drive means engaging the outer convolution, and the reel is driven in the film winding sense immediately before the roll is rotated in the unwinding sense. Claim 2 relates to apparatus for carrying out this method.
